After launching her studio in Milan with Café Radetzky, she moved to Los Angeles to collaborate with Richard Meier on the Getty Center. She later established her own New York practice. Working on the Magnum Photos Agency Headquarters in Paris and with renowned war photojournalists further refined her practical approach to art and architecture as technè—valuing "know how" over aesthetics alone. Since 2002, she has been based in Tuscany, restoring historic buildings while managing global projects.
